I first discovered my passion for chemistry in the tenth grade. I appreciated the way it used mathematical concepts. My passion and understanding of mathematics and chemistry prodded me towards a chemical engineering career. I graduated the James Clark School of Engineering at the University of Maryland with a BS in Chemical Engineering. In my last year of college I tutored elementary, middle, and high school students in all subjects, but with a strong focus on science and math. I believe that with the right guidance from an experienced tutor any student can work through the obstacles these subjects present, and actually begin to enjoy learning them. I am good for helping with that, because I tailor each lesson to the student's particular needs. I believe that a student's success in learning math and science can set them up to become the leaders, doctors, scientists, and engineers who will end up changing the world for the better. And I feel it is an honor to be a part of this through tutoring in these subjects.I live in South Weymouth, MA, and in my free time I enjoy singing, playing the guitar, cooking, reading, and traveling.
