I am currently a Junior at Bridgewater State College majoring in Criminal Justice. I've attended the Virginia Military Institute and UMASS Boston as well. Throughout my high school career I recieved various awards/citations for academic excellence and leadership, in addition to being nominated to attend the United States Air Force Academy.
Experience
While I have no previous tutuoring experience, I have been a manager/leader before in several settings including both school and work. I've taken an SAT course and the SAT test several times and scored well, especially on the verbal section (720). I want to be a tutor because I never had the opportunity to have one when I was going through school, and I feel as though it could have helped me develop my skills more so than I have. In college, I've taken two psychology classes (intro and abnormal psych.), various criminal justice/sociology classes, two art history courses, two philosophy courses as well as various free elective classes such as anthropology and American government. In high school I took three advanced placement classes in history and English, and as a result I've managed to test out of three classes in college. In addition to this, I've also taken French courses throughout high school and college.

Hobbies
For hobbies I tend to devote most of my time to music and movies, however I also enjoy reading, being with family/friends, and participating in politics when the opportunities arise.
